Taking ADB'S Knowledge Management Maturity to the next level

With this, the VPKM Group retreat 2022 will be held to discuss how ADB can further develop its KM competencies including the resources needed to manage the knowledge flow and deliver better knowledge support to the DMC clients.

The retreat will also seek to discuss what knowledge priorities should be supported and how -in terms of a regional and global knowledge architecture- to assist DMCs better to accelerate recovery from the COVID-19 crisis including how they will be executed and what KM tools can help.

The Knowledge Governance Group will be launched and their role will be explained in terms of mobilizing timebound solutions around the right allocation of resources, right kind of knowledge priorities, and how to balance corporate priorities and country demand in order to leverage knowledge as a strategic resource for change and innovation together with DMCs. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, WTO Director-General (tbc) will be invited for a conversation with President Masa about the need for an improved global knowledge architecture and new ways to look at “knowledge trade” and collaboration for a climate resilient future.
